Alimento
The Alimento School Food Partnership Program is a food security initiative in collaboration with schools in the Cobre and Silver School districts. The program aims to ensure that students and their families have access to healthy, nutritious food through a variety of support systems.
Each of the 13 school partnerships we serve have a custom-designed program that best serves the needs of their students. This custom approach utilizes a mix of services including weekend backpacks, family food boxes, in-school food pantries, classroom snack boxes, and school farm stands. Ask your school about what Alimento services they have!
Volunteer Opportunity
If you are interested in helping with this program, we have a volunteer opportunity you can participate in! Every Wednesday, volunteers pack food bags that get delivered to the schools. Click here to sign up to volunteer for Alimento.
