Youth Conservation Corps
Each summer we employ local youth to take part in an on-the-job training program called Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Training areas include: first aid, food-safe handling, culinary skills, event planning, financial literacy, garden maintenance and beautification planning, public speaking, emergency food management and more. For many this is their first job which leads them to other opportunities in our communities and beyond!
Application announcements can be found on our website and social media each summer.

Summer Garden
Kids Camps
We believe every child can be part of building a healthier, more just food system—starting in the garden. Summer Garden Kids Camp is a week-long, hands-on day camp for children ages 4–8, offered during summer break. Through playful and purposeful activities in our demonstration garden, kids will learn how to sow seeds, harvest vegetables, and use basic garden tools—all while exploring where food comes from and why it matters!
