Community Dinners
Every month we host a free dinner for community members to join in on! This is a great way to share in community and have a home-style meal. Our dinners are prepared and served by volunteers and staff in our commercial kitchen.

Community and College Cooking Classes
The Commons teaches a cooking class every other Thursday that community members and students are free to join! Established in partnership with WNMU in Fall of 2023, the College Culinary Club allows Western students to learn food safety, culinary basics, explore recipes, and techniques together with a culinary guide. Students will prepare food, eat a meal together, and help prepare 30 additional meals to provide to WNMU campus’ One Stop Pantry.
Hosted by local community members, the Community Cooking Class mirrors the College Program, where community members learn, prepare and share delicious meals together!
Both of these classes are free and all are welcome to join!

Entrepreneurship
The Commons is creating a space for local culinary entrepreneurs who are just beginning their business to practice and further develop their skills.
